Photobiomodulation (PBM)

Photobiomodulation (PBM) delivered via light-emitting diodes (LEDs) at various wavelengths penetrates tissue to different depths and is naturally absorbed by the cells to assist in the production of Adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the energy required for cell repair and regeneration.

The light energy provided by the LED arrays penetrates the skin, stimulating cells to activate PBM mechanisms and nitric oxide release using non-ionizing light energy across the visible and infrared spectrum (invisible to the human eye).

Changes occurring at the cellular level

Research shows exposure to red, green, blue, and infrared light from these LEDs can trigger significant cellular benefits. The mitochondria in the cells release nitric oxide (NO) and enhance ATP production, promoting energy and repair at the cellular level.
